What to expect
Founded in 2014, Clay by the Bay is a 10,000+ sq ft urban ceramic arts studio that relocated in 2024 to a waterfront space at Aquatic Park with views of the Golden Gate Bridge. With 50+ wheels, six kilns and 40+ glazes, it runs wheel-throwing and hand-building classes plus dedicated private team-building sessions for groups of 7–100, hosted weekdays as two-hour guided experiences where everyone creates their own piece.
