What to expect
New York City's oldest, largest and premier whiskey distillery — the first since Prohibition — founded in 2010 in the 123-year-old Paymaster Building in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. In-depth tours walk groups through milling, mashing, fermenting and distilling before a guided barrel-room tasting. Guided whiskey tasting classes teach you to nose and evaluate whiskey like a distiller, and Thursdays bring a free open-house social with DJs and cocktails.
